This spreadsheet should be considered a template or guide to estimating retail beef cut prices, and it should not be considered representative of all circumstances. Users of this tool are encouraged to enter information into the budget that reflects their individual situation. Using information most closely related to a particular operation will improve the decision-making process. Users of this tool should first enter the retail cuts they will be selling along with the quantity (amount produced, amount expected to sell) and then enter the costs or revenues they associate with their operation.
